ZUK Z2 Pro with 6GB RAM, 128GB RAM goes on sale in China

ZUK Z2 Pro was announced at an event in China last month. The 6GB RAM + 128GB ROM variant went on sell in China starting today for CNY 2699 (US $414 / INR Rs 27,647 approximately). However, only the Ceramic White model is on sale and in case you want the Titanium Black model, you need to wait a bit. The more affordable 4GB RAM + 64GB ROM edition will be listed on May 31, 2016.


ZUK Z2 Pro Specifications

The ZUK Z2 Pro sports a 5.2-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD Super AMOLED 2.5D curved glass display that comes with 500 nits of brightness, 100,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio and 100% NTSC color gamut. The display has a 1.41 mm narrow bezel on both sides. It is powered by a 2.15 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 64-bit processor along with Adreno 530 GPU. It has 4 GB of LPDDR4 RAM with 64 GB of internal memory (UFS 2.0) or 6 GB of LPDDR4 RAM with 128 GB of internal memory (UFS 2.0), which is not expandable via microSD card slot. It runs on ZUI 2.0 based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS. It will let the users sync with Apple’s iCloud.

On the camera front, the Z2 Pro rocks a 13 megapixel rear camera with dual-tone LED flash, ISOCELL sensor, 1.34 µm pixel size, Hybrid Phase Detection Auto Focus (PDAF), f/1.8 aperture. It has a 8 megapixel front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture and 1.4 µm pixel size for selfies and video calling. It supports Dual SIM (nano), comes with a 3.5 mm audio jack. It has a 3D floating glass design and the body is made up of a metal frame, which is 4.6 ~ 7.45 mm thick and weighs 145 grams. It comes with U-Touch 2.0 fingerprint sensor that has been embedded on the home button, which can unlock the phone in just 0.1 seconds and also promises an accuracy of 99.7%. It rocks 10 smart sensors, that includes a UV sensor for sun exposure, heart rate sensor and other sensors for measuring blood oxygen levels.


The ZUK Z2 Pro comes with 4G LTE with VoLTE support, 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac (Dual Band), Bluetooth 4.1, GPS and USB 3.1 Type C as connectivity options. The smartphone packs in a 3,100 mAh battery under the hood with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 support.
