ZTE ZMAX 2 phablet officially announced for USD 149.99

ZTE ZMAX 2 phablet has been officially announced in USA. It is the successor of last year’s ZMAX. Lets go through the specifications of the device.


ZTE ZMAX 2 Specifications

The ZTE ZMAX 2 features a 5.5-inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels) HD IPS display. It is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 (MSM8916) 64-bit processor with Adreno 306 GPU. It has 2 GB of RAM and comes with 16 GB of internal memory that can be expanded up to 32 GB via microSD card. It runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop OS out of the box.

The ZMAX 2 is equipped with a 8 megapixel rear camera with LED flash. On the front, a 2 megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calling. It is 9.4 mm thick and weighs 170 grams.

On the connectivity front, the ZMAX 2 has 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS. The phablet packs in a 3,000 mAh battery under the hood.

The ZTE ZMAX 2 is available in black color and goes on sale on AT&T and TracFone starting from September 25 for US $149.99 (INR Rs 9,870 approximately).
