ZTE V3 (series) of phablets – V3 Youth, V3 Energy and V3 Extreme has been announced in China. Lets take a look at the specifications. All the variants have same specifications but is differentiated by support for network and accessories.
ZTE V3 series Specifications
The ZTE V3 features a 5.5-inch HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD IPS display. It is powered by octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 (4 x 1.5 GHz + 4 x 1.0 GHz) 64-bit processor along with 550 MHz Adreno 405 GPU. It has 2 GB of RAM and comes with 16 GB of internal memory, which can be expanded up to 128 GB via microSD card. It runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop OS with nubia UI 3.0 on top of it. All the devices in the series has a fingerprint sensor on the back and the body is made up of aircraft-grade aluminium alloy.
The V3 is equipped with a 13 megapixel rear camera with LED flash, f/2.2 aperture, Largan 5p lenses. On the front, there is a 5 megapixel front-facing camera along with 88-degree wide-angle lens, f/2.2 aperture and OmniVision OV5670 sensor for selfies and video calling. It is 8.55 mm thick and weighs 160 grams. It supports Hybrid Dual SIM (micro + nano), where the second SIM slot can accommodate the microSD card. It has DTS sound and a dedicated AW8155A audio chip.
On the connectivity front, the V3 has 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1 and GPS/aGPS. It has a 3,000 mAh battery under the hood.
The ZTE V3 Youth Edition with dual 4G LTE on board has been priced at CNY 999 (US $161 / INR Rs 10,300 approximately), the V3 Energy with complete network support is available for CNY 1299 (US $209 / INR Rs 13,400 approximately) and last but not the least the V3 Extreme can be yours for CNY 1499 (US $241 / INR Rs 15,475 approximately). All the phablets in V3 series are now available for pre-order in China and will go on sale starting from August.
