ZTE nubia Prague S smartphone officially announced in China

ZTE nubia Prague S has been officially launched in China. It is the latest smartphone in the nubia series that comes with a slim profile. Lets check out the specifications of the device.

The ZTE nubia Prague S features a 5.2-inch HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD Super AMOLED OGS display that is protected by 2.5D arc Corning Gorilla Glass 3. It is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 (4×1.5 GHz + 4×1.0 GHz) 64-bit processor along with Adreno 405 GPU. It has 3 GB of LPDDR3 RAM and comes with 64 GB of internal memory, which can be expanded up to 128 GB via microSD card. It runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop OS with nubia UI 3.0 on top of it.

The Prague S is equipped with a 13 megapixel rear camera with LED flash, f/2.2 aperture and 5P lens. On the front, a 8 megapixel front-facing camera with f/2.4 aperture and 78-degree wide viewing lens for selfies and video calling. There is a new NeoVision 5.2 Camera UI on board as well. It has a 6.8 mm thick body with anodized aluminium frame (Frame Interactive Technology) and it weighs 135 grams. It supports Hybrid Dual SIM (micro + nano) feature, where the second nano SIM slot can be used as a microSD card. It comes with a Eyeprint ID iris scanner for secure locking, has a AKM4375 Hi-Fi audio chip along with a 7.1-channel Dolby audio and Dolby decoder for an enhanced audio experience audio on board.


On the connectivity front, the Prague S has 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n/ac (dual band), Bluetooth, USB OTG and GPS. It has a 2,200 mAh battery under the hood that supports fast charging.

The ZTE nubia Prague S is available in Rose Gold and Silver color variants and has been priced at CNY 2499 (US $380 / INR Rs 25,689 approximately). It can now be pre-ordered in China and will go on sale starting from January 23, 2016.
