ZTE has announced a couple of new budget smartphones for USA at CES 2016. Lets check out the ZTE Grand X3 here which is a budget smartphone with USB Type-C support.
ZTE Grand X3 Specifications
The ZTE Grand X3 features a 5.5-inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels) HD capacitive touch screen display that is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 212 processor along with Adreno 304 GPU. It has 2 GB of RAM and comes with 16 GB of internal memory that can be expanded up to 64 GB via microSD card. It runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop OS out of the box.
The Grand X3 is equipped with a 8 megapixel rear primary camera with LED flash. On the front, there is a 2 megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calling. It comes with a 3.5 mm audio jack and is Dolby Audio certified. It is 9.4 mm thick and weighs 170 grams.
On the connectivity front, the Grand X3 has 4G LTE with VoLTE, 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, USB Type-C and GPS. The phablet packs in a 3,000 mAh battery under the hood with fast-charging support.
The ZTE Grand X3 has been priced at US $129.99 and will be available from Cricket Wireless (carrier) in USA. The company has also launched the ZTE Avid Plus and it will be sold via T-Mobile for $114.99 starting from January 20.
