ZTE Blade V580 with fingerprint sensor goes official in Japan

ZTE Blade V580 has been officially announced in Japan. It is the latest phablet in the ‘Blade’ series. Lets check out the specifications of the device.


ZTE Blade V580 Specifications

The ZTE Blade V580 sports a 5.5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD IPS display. It is powered by a 1.3 GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6753 64-bit processor along with Mali-T720 GPU. It comes with 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal memory which is expandable via microSD card. The device runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop OS out of the box.

On the camera front, the Blade V580 has a 13 megapixel rear camera with LED flash. It has a 5 megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calling. It supports Hybrid Dual SIM (nano + nano/microSD) and comes with a 3.5 mm audio jack. It has a full metal unibody design that is 8.6 mm thick and weighs 165 grams. It also comes with a fingerprint sensor located below the rear primary camera.

The Blade V580 comes with 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, USB OTG and GPS as connectivity options. The phablet packs in a 3,000 mAh battery under the hood.

The ZTE Blade V580 is available in Silver and Gray color variants and has been priced at 27,800 Yen (US $246 / INR Rs 16,503 approximately). It goes on sale in Japan starting from March 25, 2016. The company had announced the ZTE Blade V7 and ZTE Blade V7 Lite at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) last month.
