ZTE Axon Lux launched in China for USD 626

ZTE Axon Lux phablet has been launched in China. It is a variant of the recently announced ZTE Axon Pro. Lets check out the specifications.


ZTE Axon Lux Specifications

The ZTE Axon Lux features a 5.5-inch HD (2560 x 1440 pixels) Quad HD CGS (Continuous Grain Silicon) TFT LCD display which is protected by Corning Antimicrobial Gorilla Glass. It is powered by a octa-core 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 (4×1.5 GHz ARM A53 + 4×2.0 GHz ARM A57) processor along with Adreno 430 GPU. It has 4 GB of RAM and comes with 128 GB of internal memory, which can be expanded up to 128 GB via microSD card. It runs on Android 5.0.2 Lollipop OS with MiFavour 3.2 on top of it.

The Axon Lux is equipped with a 13 megapixel rear camera with dual LED flash, 2 megapixel secondary camera for DOP. It can shoot 4K videos. On the front, a 8 megapixel front-facing camera with 88-degree wide-angle lens for selfies and video calling. It is able to record 1080P videos. It is 9.3 mm thick and weighs 168 grams. It supports Dual SIM and has a Hi-Fi Audio Chipset called AKM 4961.

On the connectivity front, the Axon Lux has 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac (dual band), Bluetooth 4.0 with A2DP and GPS. It has a 3,000 mAh battery under the hood. It has a fingerprint scanner on the back along with a faux leather finish. It also has Eyeprint ID, a password-free eye-based biometric unlocking solution from EyeVerify. This works by imaging unique vein patterns in the human eye by using the front-facing camera. It was first introduced in the Grand S3.

The ZTE Axon Lux is available in Ion Gold and Chromium Silver colour variants and has been priced at CNY 3,888 (US $626 / INR Rs 39,900 approximately). It is now selling in China.
