ZTE Axon 2 with Snapdragon 820, 4GB RAM gets certified by TENAA

ZTE Axon 2, a successor of the ZTE Axon has been certified by TENAA in China. It bears a model number of A2017. The device first surfaced on GFXBench last month. Lets check out the rumoured specifications of the flagship phablet now.


ZTE Axon 2 Specifications

The ZTE Axon 2 will feature a 5.5-inch (2560 x 1440 pixels) Quad HD OLED display. It will be powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 64-bit processor along with Adreno 530 GPU.. It will come with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal memory, which can be expanded up to 128 GB via microSD card. It will run on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow OS out of the box with MiFavour 3.2 on top of it.

The Axon 2 will be equipped with a 20 megapixel rear camera with dual LED flash. It will be able to shoot 4K videos. On the front, there will be a 8 megapixel front-facing camera with 88-degree wide-angle lens for selfies and video calling. It will have a unibody metal design that is 9.8 mm thick and weigh 175 grams. There will be a fingerprint sensor at the back and the phablet will support Dual SIM.

On the connectivity front, the Axon 2 will support 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac (dual band), Bluetooth 4.0, NFC, USB Type-C and GPS. It will pack in a 3,140 mAh battery under the hood with Quick Charge 3.0 support.

The ZTE Axon 2 will be available in Gold color and is expected to be announced soon.
