ZOPO Speed 8 has been officially announced at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona last week. It is the latest flagship phablet and the successor of ZOPO Speed 7 that also comes with the first deca-core MediaTek Helio X20 chipset. Lets check out the rest of the specifications of the device.
ZOPO Speed 8 Specifications
The ZOPO Speed 8 features a 5.5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD IPS display that is powered by a deca-core MediaTek Helio X20 64-bit processor along with 700 MHz Mali-T880 MP4 GPU. It has 4 GB of RAM and comes with 32 GB of internal memory which cannot be expanded via microSD card. It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS out of the box. It has a brushed metal look.
The Speed 8 is equipped with a 21 megapixel rear camera with dual LED flash, f/2.2 aperture, Sony IMX230 sensor, Phase Detection Auto Focus (PDAF) and 6P lenses. On the front, there is a 8 megapixel front-facing camera with LED flash, f/2.0 aperture, OmniVision OV8856 sensor and 4P lenses for selfies and video calling. It supports dual SIM, comes with a 3.5 mm audio jack and FM Radio. It is 9.8 mm thick and weighs 136 grams. It has a fingerprint sensor at the back and also comes with front-facing speakers.
On the connectivity front, the Speed 8 has 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac (Dual Band), Bluetooth 4.1, USB Type-C, NFC, USB OTG and GPS. It packs in a 3,600 mAh battery under the hood that supports fast charging.
The ZOPO Speed 8 is available in Silver and Black color variants and has been priced at US $299.99 (INR Rs 20,218 approximately). It will be going on sale starting from April 12, 2016.
The company has also announced ZOPO Speed 7C smartphone at the event. However, pricing and availability of the device has not been revealed yet.
