YUREKA PLUS goes on open sale in India from August 10 – 12

After YU announced a permanent price cut of Rs 1,000 on the recently launched YUREKA PLUS, the budget phablet goes on open sale from August 10 to August 12 on Amazon India.


YUREKA PLUS has become the cheapest Full HD phone in India, priced at just Rs 8,999. It is exclusively sold on Amazon India via flash sales. However, the device will go on open sale from tomorrow (August 10) to August 12. Thus, you can buy it without the hassle of registrations and flash sale. It is part of the ‘Great Indian Freedom Sale’ on Amazon India, which is taking place from August 10-12. So, grab this device or check out the other deals. YU YUREKA PLUS Specifications


The YU YUREKA PLUS features a 5.5-inch HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) FULL HD IPS display with a pixel density of 400ppi and also protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 (MSM8939) octa-core 64 bit (ARM Cortex A53 – 4×1.5 GHz + 4×1.0 GHz) processor with Adreno 405 GPU. It has 2 GB of RAM and comes with 16 GB of internal memory which is expandable up to 32 GB via microSD card. It runs on Cyanogen 12 OS based on Android 5.0 Lollipop out of the box.

The YUREKA PLUS rocks a 13 megapixel rear camera with LED flash, f/2.2 aperture, Sony IMX214 sensor, 5P Largan Blue lens. It can shoot 1080p Full HD videos as 30 fps and slo-mo videos of 720p at 60 fps. On the front, it comes with a 5 megapixel front facing camera which comes with 1.4 micron pixel size for clicking selfies and making video calls. It supports Dual SIM and comes with a 3.5 mm audio jack, FM Radio.

The YUREKA PLUS comes with 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and USB OTG as connectivity options. It has a 2,500 mAh battery under the hood.
