YU YUREKA S gets listed ahead of launch in India for Rs 12999

YU Televentures is all set to launch the YUREKA S in India, a new variant in the YUREKA family. It has been listed on the official website and has been priced at Rs 12,999. Recently, the company had launched the YUREKA NOTE back in April whereas the YUREKA PLUS and the original YUREKA were launched 1 year and 2 year back, respectively. Lets go through the specifications and features of the latest YUREKA S below.


YU YUREKA S Specifications

The YU YUREKA S features a 5.2-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD AMOLED laminated display, that is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3 and has a pixel density of 423 PPI. It is powered by a 1.7 GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor along with Adreno 405 GPU. It has 3 GB of RAM and comes with 16 GB of internal memory, which can be further expanded up to 64 GB via microSD card. The device runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop OS out of the box. The latest mid-ranger from YU features Around YU 2.0, which is an upgraded version of its integrated discovery platform.

The YUREKA S rocks a 13 megapixel rear camera with LED flash, f/2.2 aperture, OmniVision OV13850 PureCel sensor. On the front, there is a 5 megapixel front-facing camera with f/2.2 aperture, 84-degree wide-angle lens for selfies and video calling. It supports Hybrid Dual SIM, comes with a 3.5 mm audio jack and FM Radio. It has a body that is made up of both metal and polycarbonate, that makes it look premium and lightweight as well. It features Wolfson Pure Sound codec and Yamaha amplifier for an enhanced audio experience.

The YUREKA S includes 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS as connectivity options. The smartphone packs in a 3,000 mAh Li-Po battery under the hood with Qualcomm Quick Charge 1.0 support, that promises up to 9 hours of talk time and up to 450 hours of standby time.

YU YUREKA S priced at Rs 12999 in India

The YU YUREKA S will be available in Dark Grey, Rose Gold and White color variants for Rs 12,999 in India. Since it has been listed on the website, the official launch can be expected soon. The company now boasts of having 825 service centres across 600+ cities in India. YU Televentures has also listed the YUNIQUE PLUS, which is a successor of the YUNIQUE.
