YU lists YUNIQUE PLUS on website for Rs 6499 ahead of official launch

YU Televentures is gearing up to launch the successor of their low-end budget smartphone, the YUNIQUE in India, after launching the mid-ranger, YUNICORN back in May. YU has listed the YUNIQUE PLUS on their official website and has priced the device at Rs 6,499. Lets check out the specifications and features of the smartphone below.

YU YUNIQUE PLUS Specifications

The YU YUNIQUE PLUS features a 4.7-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD IPS LCD fully laminated display, that is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3 and has a pixel density of 312 PPI. It is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon (MSM8916) 410 64-bit processor along with Adreno 306 GPU. It has 2 GB of RAM and comes with 8 GB of internal memory, which can be further expanded up to 32 GB via microSD card. The device runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop OS out of the box but you can flash Cyanogen OS 12.1 (optional), if you choose to.

The YUNIQUE PLUS packs in a 8 megapixel rear camera with LED flash, f/2.0 aperture, that can shoot 1080p Full HD videos. On the front, there is a 2 megapixel front-facing camera with f/2.4 aperture and 83-degree wide-angle lens for selfies and video calling. It supports Dual SIM, comes with a 3.5 mm audio jack and FM Radio. It has a polycarbonate body that is 8.3 mm thick and weighs 128 grams.

The YUNIQUE PLUS includes 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS as connectivity options. The smartphone packs in a 2,000 mAh battery under the hood, that promises up to 7 hours of talk time on 3G, up to 12.5 hours of audio playback, up to 6 hours of video playback and up to 345 hours of standby time.

YU YUNIQUE PLUS launching in India soon

The YUNIQUE PLUS will be available in Black color for Rs 6,499 in India. Since it has been listed on the website, the official launch can be expected soon. The company now boasts of having 825 service centres across 600+ cities in India. YU Televentures has also listed the YUREKA S (YU5530), which is a successor of the YUREKA.
