YU YUNIQUE PLUS with 2GB RAM officially launched in India for Rs 6999

YU Televentures have officially launched the YUNIQUE PLUS in India today, after it was spotted on the official website couple of days back. It is the successor of their low-end budget smartphone, the YUNIQUE in India Lets check out the specifications, features and pricing of the smartphone below.

YU YUNIQUE PLUS Specifications

The YU YUNIQUE PLUS features a 4.7-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD IPS LCD fully laminated display, that is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3 and has a pixel density of 312 PPI. It is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon (MSM8916) 410 64-bit processor along with Adreno 306 GPU. It has 2 GB of RAM and comes with 8 GB of internal memory, which can be further expanded up to 32 GB via microSD card. The device runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop OS out of the box but you can flash Cyanogen OS 12.1 (optional), if you choose to.

The YUNIQUE PLUS packs in a 8 megapixel rear camera with LED flash, f/2.0 aperture, that can shoot 1080p Full HD videos. On the front, there is a 2 megapixel front-facing camera with f/2.4 aperture and 83-degree wide-angle lens for selfies and video calling. It supports Dual SIM, comes with a 3.5 mm audio jack and FM Radio. It has a polycarbonate body that is 8.3 mm thick and weighs 128 grams.

The YUNIQUE PLUS includes 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS as connectivity options. The smartphone packs in a 2,000 mAh battery under the hood, that promises up to 7 hours of talk time on 3G, up to 12.5 hours of audio playback, up to 6 hours of video playback and up to 345 hours of standby time.

The YU YUNIQUE PLUS has been priced at Rs 6,999 and is now selling via retail stores across pan India. The company has also launched the YU YUREKA S in the country today for Rs 12,999.
