YU launches YUNIQUE 2 running on Android 7.0 Nougat in India for Rs. 5999

YU YUNIQUE 2 has been officially launched in India today. It is the successor of the YUNIQUE PLUS that was launched in August 2016. Lets have a look at the specifications, features and pricing of the mobile below.

The YU YUNIQUE 2 features a 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD IPS LCD fully laminated display, that is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3 and has a pixel density of 294 PPI. It is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6737 64-bit processor along with Mali-T720 GPU. It comes with 2GB RAM and 16GB internal memory, which can be further expanded up to 64GB by adding a microSD card. The device runs on Android 7.0 Nougat OS out of the box and comes preloaded with the Truecaller app.

The YUNIQUE 2 rocks in a 13 megapixel primary rear camera with LED flash, that can shoot 1080p Full HD videos. On the front, there is a 5 megapixel front-facing camera for clicking selfies and making video calls. It supports Dual SIM, comes with a 3.5mm audio jack and FM Radio. It has a polycarbonate body that is 9.15mm thick and weighs 159 grams.

The YUNIQUE 2 includes 4G VoLTE, 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS as connectivity options. The smartphone packs in a 2500mAh battery under the hood.

The YU YUNIQUE 2 is available in Champagne Gold and Coal Black colors. It has been priced at Rs. 5,999 in India and will go on sale exclusively on Flipkart starting from July 27 at 12PM.
