YU JYUICE 5000mAh and 10000mAh power banks launched in India for Rs 699 and Rs 1099 respectively

YU Televentures, a sister concern of Micromax has launched YU JYUICE power banks to diversify their product lineup beyond smartphones and fitness bands. It is available in two variants – 5000mAh and 10000mAh capacities. Lets take a closer look at the power banks.


YU JYUICE power banks Specifications

The YU JYUICE power banks are designed with precision. The new range of power banks have been exquisitely built with aluminum alloy anodizing that helps repel any form of degeneration, corrosion or rusting. It flaunts a beautifully handcrafted aluminium alloy shell with round edges. The 5000mAh variant is 7.9 mm thick whereas the 10000mAh power bank is 12.5 mm thick.

Moving ahead of the traditional Li-ion (Lithium-ion) batteries of the past, JYUICE comes loaded with Lithium-polymer batteries. The Li-polymer batteries not only help protect one’s gadgets but also last longer than conventional Li-ion batteries. The advanced batteries also are more resistant to overcharge, an issue that lot of users face currently.

Most power banks have white LED lights, however, JYUICE comes with multi-colored LED light and it glows in green when there is more than 70% charge left, Yellow when more than 30% and less than 70%, and Red when its less than 30%. If you tap on the power banks, it will show the battery status via flashing the appropriate color. According to YU, these come with 92% charging conversion rate and has eight layers of protection. The 10000mAh comes with two USB ports where one has 5V-1A output and another has 5V-2.1A output whereas the 5000mAh power bank comes with one 5V-2.1A output. For both these devices, the input is 5V-1A.


The YU JYUICE 5000mAh has been priced at Rs 699 and it costs Rs 1,099 for the 10000mAh power bank. These are exclusively available on Snapdeal in India. The company also recently launched YU YUNIQUE smartphone exclusively on Snapdeal and we will bring you the review soon.
