One year ago, it was priced at CNY 4888, which is equivalent to $730. Hence, it has received a drastic price cut, which was expected as well since the phone was not very popular globally. The YotaPhone 2 features two displays – a 5.0-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) AMOLED multi-touch main display and a 4.3-inch (960 x 540 pixels) EPD (Electronic Paper Display) full touch rear screen. Both are protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3 and has a pixel density of 442 PPI and 235 PPI, respectively. It is powered by 2.26 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 (MSM8974) processor along with Adreno 330 GPU. It has 2 GB of RAM and comes with 32 GB of internal memory, which cannot be expanded further via microSD card. The device runs on Android 4.4 KitKat OS out of the box.

The YotaPhone 2 rocks a 8 megapixel auto-focus rear camera with LED flash, which can shoot 1080p Full HD videos. On the front, it has a 2 megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calling. It is 8.9 mm thick and weighs 140 grams.

The YotaPhone 2 includes  4G LTE (FDD-LTE : 1800/2100 MHz), 3G (WCDMA : 850/900/1900/2100 MHz), 2G (GSM : 850/900/1800/1900 MHz), Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n dual band, Bluetooth 4.0, a-GPS/GPS, GLONASS as connectivity options. The dual-screen smartphone packs in a 2,500 mAh battery (non-removable) under the hood, which supports wireless charging. The Electronic Paper Display screen offers up to 50 hours of battery life when using the always-on display, according to Yota Devices.
