XOLO Era X smartphone launched in India for Rs 5777

XOLO Era X smartphone has been officially launched in India on February 24. It is the latest budget device in the ‘Era’ lineup to be equipped with 4G LTE. Lets check out the specifications of the smartphone.


XOLO Era X Specifications

The XOLO Era X features a 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD IPS display that is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass. It is powered by a 1.5 GHz quad-core Spreadtrum SC9830A processor along with 512 MHz Mali-400 MP2 GPU. It has 2 GB of DDR3 RAM and comes with 8 GB of internal memory which can also be expanded up to 32 GB via microSD card. The device runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop OS out of the box and XOLO promises to upgrade it to Android 6.0 Marshmallow in the near future.

The Era X comes with a 8 megapixel rear primary camera with dual LED flash. On the front, there is a 5 megapixel front-facing camera with LED flash for selfies and video calling. It supports Dual SIM, comes with a 3.5 mm audio jack and FM Radio. It is 8.45 mm thick, weighs 142 grams and packs in a K-class amplifier and box speakers.

The Era X includes 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS as connectivity options. The smartphone packs in a 2,500 mAh battery under the hood.

The XOLO Era X is available in Black color and has been priced at Rs 5,777 in India. It is being sold exclusively on Amazon India. The company had previously launched the XOLO Era 4G and XOLO Era 4K smartphones in the country.
