XOLO BLACK phablet launched in India exclusively on Flipkart for Rs 12999

XOLO BLACK has been launched in India, will be exclusively available on Flipkart. It is the first smartphone under the sub-brand from XOLO, which is online-only inspired by the Chinese counterparts. Lets look at the specifications.


XOLO BLACK Specifications

The XOLO BLACK features a 5.5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD OGS display which is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. It has a pixel density of 401 ppi. It is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 (ARM Cortex A53 – 4×1.5 GHz + 4×1.0 GHz) 64-bit processor along with Adreno 405 GPU. It comes with 2 GB of LPDDR3 RAM and has 16 GB of internal memory which can be expanded up to 32 GB via microSD card. It runs on the latest Android 5.0 Lollipop OS out of the box with HIVE Atlas UI on top of it.

On the camera front, the BLACK comes with a 13 megapixel rear camera with LED flash, 5 element lens and f/2.0 aperture. It has another 2 megapixel rear camera with depth sensing, 3 element lens and f/2.4 aperture. On the front, there is a 5 megapixel front-facing camera with LED flash, 5 element lens, f/2.0 aperture for selfies and video calling. It supports Hybrid Dual SIM (micro + nano) feature, where the second slot can be used as microSD card. The phone is 7.3 mm thick.


The BLACK comes with 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, GLONASS and USB OTG as connectivity options. The phablet is powered by a 3,200 mAh battery under the hood, which supports Qualcomm Quick Charge 1.0 and comes with a 2 Amp charger.

The XOLO Black has been priced at Rs 12,999 in India. It will be exclusively available on Flipkart from July 13. However, for existing XOLO customers, the phablet will be available on July 12 from 4PM to 8PM. Registrations of these XOLO First customers will be on from July 10 4PM to July 11 8PM. The company has partnered with Vodafone to provide 1GB of free data per month for 2 months for Vodafone customers along with unlimited Vodafone Music for two months. BLACK Hands-on experience will be available in 100 Vodafone Stores but you cannot purchase it.
