Xiaomi Redmi Note Prime with Snapdragon 410 processor launched in India for Rs 8499

Xiaomi Redmi Note Prime is the latest phablet to be launched in India by “Apple of China”. While the company has launched Redmi Note 3 in China recently, India gets an outdated recycled phone. Lets check out the specifications.


Xiaomi Redmi Note Prime Specifications

The Xiaomi Redmi Note Prime features a 5.5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD IPS display that has a 178-degree viewing angle. It is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 (MSM8916) processor along with Adreno 306 GPU. It packs in 2 GB of LPDDR3 RAM along with 16 GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 32 GB via microSD card. The device runs on MIUI 7 based on Android 4.4 KitKat OS.

The Redmi Note Prime rocks a 13 megapixel rear camera with LED flash, f/2.4 aperture. It can shoot 1080p Full HD videos. It comes with a 5 megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calling. It supports dual SIM feature with dual standby mode. It is 9.45 mm thick and weighs just 185 grams.

On the connectivity front, the Note Prime comes with 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n (Dual Band), Bluetooth 4.0 LE, GPS and USB OTG. The phablet packs in a 3,100 mAh removable battery under the hood.


The Xiaomi Redmi Note Prime is available in White color and has been priced at Rs 8,499 in India. It will be sold exclusively on Amazon India and starting from 10 AM tomorrow (December 15). It will be the second Xiaomi product to be “Made in India”. It will be manufactured in partnership with Foxconn in Sri City, Andhra Pradesh.
