Xiaomi Redmi 3X has been announced in China today for local operator China Unicom. It has similar specifications as that of the Redmi 3s, which was just launched yesterday. Lets check out the specifications and features of the device now.
Xiaomi Redmi 3X Specifications
The Xiaomi Redmi 3X features a 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD IPS display. It is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 (Quad 1.5 GHz A53 + Quad 1.2 GHz A53) 64-bit processor along with Adreno 505 GPU. It packs in 2 GB of LPDDR3 RAM along with 32 GB of internal storage, which can be further expanded up to 128 GB via microSD card. The device runs on MIUI 7 based on Android OS. It comes with a full metal magnesium alloy unibody design.
The Redmi 3X rocks a 13 megapixel rear camera with LED flash, Phase Detection Auto Focus (PDAF), f/2.0 aperture. It comes with a 5 megapixel front-facing camera with f/2.2 aperture for selfies and video calling. Both the cameras can shoot 1080p Full HD videos. It supports Hybrid dual SIM (micro + nano/microSD) feature, where the second SIM slot can be used as a microSD card slot and comes with a 3.5 mm audio jack. It has a full metal magnesium alloy body, which is 8.5 mm thick and weighs 144 grams. It packs in a fingerprint sensor at the back as well.
On the connectivity front, the Redmi 3X comes with 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS + GLONASS and USB OTG. The smartphone packs in a massive 4,100 mAh battery under the hood that supports fast charging.
The Xiaomi Redmi 3X is available in Gold and Silver color variants. It has been priced at CNY 899 (US $137 / INR Rs 9,173 approximately) on China Unicom, a local telecom network in China.
In other Xiaomi news, the company will launch the Xiaomi Mi Max in India on June 30, 2016 at an event in Delhi.
