Xiaomi announced the Mi Note as expected in the launch event today at China. Now, the company has thrown in a surprise with announcing the Xiaomi Mi Note Pro as well. Lets have a look at the Pro variant. This is the second device for the day and there will not be any Mi4S this time.
Xiaomi Mi Note Pro Specifications
The Xiaomi Mi Note Pro features a 5.7-inch (2560 x 1440 pixels) 2K display with 2.5D glass, that curves at the edges. The phablet’s back is made out of 3D curved glass as well, which makes it the ‘world’s first curved glass body’. This curved glass makes it highly resistant to scratches and shattering. The display is protected by curved Corning Gorilla Glass 3 with 0.3 mm bezel. It produces 95% NTSC colour gamut and has a NEGA negative LCD panel with 1400:1 contrast ratio. It also has adaptive dynamic contrast and blue light-reducing mode, which reduces eye fatigue.
The Mi Note is powered by a 2.5 GHz 64-bit Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor with Adreno 430 GPU. It comes with 4 GB of RAM as well with 64 GB eMMC 5.0 internal flash storage which cannot be expanded. The phablet run on MIUI 6 based on Android 4.4 KitKat. It will soon be upgraded to Android 5.0 Lollipop.
On the camera front, the Xiaomi Mi Note Pro has a 13-megapixel rear camera with Philips dual-tone dual LED flash. It has second generation Sony IMX214 CMOS sensor with f/2.0 aperture, six-element lens along with Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS). On the front, a 4-megapixel front-facing camera with large two-micron pixels for selfies and video calling. It has Dual SIM connectivity with 4G LTE on both SIM with dual standby mode.
The Xiaomi Mi Note Pro comes with a 3,000 mAh Sony/LG lithium-ion battery under the hood with quick charge 2.0 technology for fast charging. The phablet weighs 161 grams and is just 6.95 mm thick. The dimensions of Xiaomi Mi Note are 155.1 x 77.6 x 6.95 mm.
The Xiaomi Mi Note Pro will be available in White colour variant and has been priced at 3299 Chinese Yuan (USD 550/INR Rs 32,700 approximately). No launch date announced yet.
