Xiaomi was expected to launch the Xiaomi Mi Note as one of the devices today at an event in China and now it has been officially announced. Yes, it is the all new Xiaomi Mi Note which was just unveiled by the company.
Xiaomi Mi Note Specifications
The Xiaomi Mi Note features a 5.7-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD display with 2.5D glass, that curves at the edges. The phablet’s back is made out of 3D curved glass as well, which makes it the ‘world’s first curved glass body’. This curved glass makes it highly resistant to scratches and shattering. The display is protected by curved Corning Gorilla Glass 3 with 0.3 mm bezel. It produces 95% NTSC colour gamut and has a NEGA negative LCD panel with 1400:1 contrast ratio. It also has adaptive dynamic contrast and blue light-reducing mode, which reduces eye fatigue.
The Mi Note is powered by a 2.5 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor with Adreno 330 GPU. It comes with 3 GB of RAM as well with 16/64 GB of internal storage which cannot be expanded. The phablet run on MIUI 6 based on Android 4.4 KitKat. It will soon be upgraded to Android 5.0 Lollipop.
On the camera front, the Xiaomi Mi Note has a 13-megapixel rear camera with Philips dual-tone dual LED flash. It has second generation Sony IMX214 CMOS sensor with f/2.0 aperture, six-element lens along with Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS). On the front, a 4-megapixel front-facing camera with large two-micron pixels for selfies and video calling. It has Dual SIM connectivity with 4G LTE on both SIM with dual standby mode.
The Xiaomi Mi Note comes with a 3,000 mAh Sony/LG lithium-ion battery under the hood with quick charge 2.0 technology for fast charging. The phablet weighs 161 grams and is just 6.95 mm thick. The dimensions of Xiaomi Mi Note are 155.1 x 77.6 x 6.95 mm.
The Xiaomi Mi Note will be available in Black and White colour variants and has been priced at 2299 Chinese Yuan (USD 370/INR Rs 22,900 approximately) for the 16 GB variant and 2799 Chinese Yuan (USD 450/INR Rs 27,800 approximately) for the 64 GB variant. No launch date announced yet.
