Last week, Xiaomi Mi Max Prime was officially announced in India. The massive phablet with 4GB RAM and 128GB ROM goes on sale in the country starting today via Mi.com for Rs 19,999. It is already Out of Stock for today but it will again be available tomorrow at 10 AM. It comes in Dark Grey and Gold color variants. Xiaomi Mi Max Prime Specifications
The Xiaomi Mi Max Prime features a 6.44-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD IPS 2.5D curved display. The phablet comes with sunlight display technology which improves screen readability using hardware-level technology to adjust contrast for each pixel in real-time. It is powered by a hexa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 64-bit processor along with Adreno 510 GPU. It packs in 4 GB of RAM with 128 GB of internal storage, which can be further expanded via microSD card. The device runs on MIUI 8 based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS.
The Mi Max Prime rocks a 16 megapixel rear camera with dual-tone LED flash, Phase Detection Auto Focus (PDAF) and f/2.0 aperture. It can shoot 1080p Full HD videos and 120fps slow-motion videos. It comes with a 5 megapixel front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture for selfies and video calling. The front shooter can also capture Full HD 1080p videos. It supports Hybrid dual SIM (micro + nano / microSD card) with dual standby mode. It has a fingerprint sensor below the primary camera that unlocks in 0.3 seconds and comes with Trustonic TEE chip-level security. It has a full metal unibody design that is just 7.5 mm thick and weighs just 203 grams. It also has an Infrared sensor.
On the connectivity front, the Mi Max Prime comes with 4G LTE with VoLTE support, 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n/ac (Dual Band), Bluetooth 4.2 LE with A2DP, GPS, GLONASS and USB OTG. The phablet packs in a whopping 4,850 mAh non-removable battery under the hood.
