Xiaomi Mi Max Prime with 4GB RAM, 128GB ROM goes on sale in India on October 17

Back in July, the 3GB RAM variant of the Xiaomi Mi Max went on sale in India. Today, the company has announced a superior variant of the same called Xiaomi Mi Max Prime with Snapdragon 652 SoC, 4GB RAM and 128GB ROM. It has been priced at Rs 19,999 and will go on sale in the country starting from October 17, 2016 via Check out its specifications and features below.

The Xiaomi Mi Max Prime features a 6.44-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD IPS 2.5D curved display. The phablet comes with sunlight display technology which improves screen readability using hardware-level technology to adjust contrast for each pixel in real-time. It is powered by a hexa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 64-bit processor along with Adreno 510 GPU. It packs in 4 GB of RAM with 128 GB of internal storage, which can be further expanded via microSD card. The device runs on MIUI 8 based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS.

The Mi Max Prime rocks a 16 megapixel rear camera with dual-tone LED flash, Phase Detection Auto Focus (PDAF) and f/2.0 aperture. It can shoot 1080p Full HD videos and 120fps slow-motion videos. It comes with a 5 megapixel front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture for selfies and video calling. The front shooter can also capture Full HD 1080p videos. It supports Hybrid dual SIM (micro + nano / microSD card) with dual standby mode. It has a fingerprint sensor below the primary camera that unlocks in 0.3 seconds and comes with Trustonic TEE chip-level security. It has a full metal unibody design that is just 7.5 mm thick and weighs just 203 grams. It also has an Infrared sensor.

On the connectivity front, the Mi Max Prime comes with 4G LTE with VoLTE support, 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n/ac (Dual Band), Bluetooth 4.2 LE with A2DP, GPS, GLONASS and USB OTG. The phablet packs in a whopping 4,850 mAh non-removable battery under the hood. The Xiaomi Mi Max Prime will be available in Light Grey, Silver and Gold color variants.
