Xiaomi is celebrating first #MiAnniversary in India this week and has decided to launch two new headphones today, specially for the audiophiles.
Xiaomi Mi Headphones
The Mi Headphones was announced last year in China along with the launch of Mi Note and Mi Note Pro. It has a 50mm diaphragm, which makes it 25% larger than other regular headphones that is 2 microns thick for incredible sensitivity to detail. It has built-in Knowles MEMS microphone for taking calls, music or call controller. It is made up of aluminium grilles with a retro chic gold finish.
The headphones have 3D Audio Realistic surround sound with dual-damping system which absorbs reflected sound waves and reduces ambient noise. It has an impedance of 32 ohms, sensitivity of 98dB, Frequency Range of 20-20,000Hz. It weighs just 220 grams.
The Mi Headphones have Kevlar fibres within the cable which reduce tangles, resist breaks and enhance durability. It folds and fits into a durable carrying case which makes it portable. It also comes with replaceable on-ear and over-ear cushion kits. It is priced at Rs 5,499 in India.
New Xiaomi in-ear Headphone Specifications
The new Xiaomi in-ear headphone has a metal composite technology for diaphragm with better balance damping system (3rd Generation). It has a “Spiral Pipe” sound chamber with adequate bass performance optimization. The new headphone now offers more professional tuning mode with super fine and sophisticated design. It has USA Knowles’ microphone with small interface which has very low distortion and gives super clear call quality. It comes with a brushed aluminium which is anodized and corrosion resistant. Xiaomi claims the colour won’t fade away easily.
The new Xiaomi in-ear headphone will be supported by all Xiaomi devices along with iOS devices such as iPhone, iPod and iPad. We are sure it will work on other Android devices as well. It comes with gift packing and three pairs of quality silicon ear buds. It has been priced at Rs 999 in India.
Xiaomi has also introduced the Mi 4i 32GB variant priced at Rs 14,999 in India yesterday, as part of #MiAnniversary.
