WickedLeak Wammy Hero Windows tablet launched in India for Rs 8990

WickedLeak Wammy Hero Windows tablet has been launched in India today. It is the first Windows tablet from the company. Lets have a look at the specifications.


WickedLeak Wammy Hero tablet Specifications

The WickedLeak Wammy Hero tablet features a 8-inch (1280 x 800 pixels) multi-touch IPS display with zero air gap technology and 177-degree viewing angle. It is powered by 1.33 GHz quad-core Intel Atom Z3735F processor (burst up to 1.86 GHz) with 646 MHz Intel HD Graphics. It comes with 1 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage which can be expanded up to 64 GB via microSD card. The tablet runs on Windows 8.1 OS and most probably will be upgraded to Windows 10 when it comes out.

On the camera front, the Wammy Hero has 2 megapixel rear as well front-facing cameras. On the connectivity front, it comes with 3G (via SIM card slot), WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and microUSB. It has a 4,000 mAh battery under the hood.

The WickedLeak Wammy Hero has been priced at Rs 8,990 and is now available through the official website. The tablet also comes with optional Aquaprotect Water Resistant Technology for Rs 1,500 (sold separately), which would give more than 30 minutes of water resistance.

The company is also about to launch Wammy Note 4 on June 15 in India and price it very aggressively. It will supposedly come with 4G LTE support and 3GB RAM. We will know about it soon. WickedLeak launched the Wammy Titan 4 last year for Rs 14,990 with a whopping 5,330 mAh battery.
