Vivo Y66 has been officially launched in India today. It is a mid-ranged selfie-focused smartphone with a 16 megapixel front-facing camera. Lets check out the specifications, features and pricing of the phone below.

The Vivo Y66 boasts of a 5.5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD IPS 2.5D curved glass display, that is powered by a 1.5GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6750 64-bit processor along with Mali-T860 GPU. It comes with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal memory, which can also be expanded further up to 256GB by adding a microSD card. The device runs on FunTouch OS 3.0 based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS. It comes with features like split screen for multitasking and a unique eye protection mode that will ensure comfortable screen brightness by reducing blue light that causes strain on the eyes.
The Y66 rocks a 13 megapixel primary rear camera with LED flash, f/2.2 aperture. On the front, there is a 16 megapixel front-facing camera with soft flash, f/2.0 aperture for clicking selfies and making video calls. It comes with features like Palm Capture and Voice Capture. The smartphone has Hybrid Dual SIM (micro + nano / microSD card) support, comes with a 3.5mm audio jack and FM Radio. It is 7.6mm thick and weighs 155 grams.
In the connectivity department, the Y66 includes 4G VoLTE, 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS. The phablet packs in a 3000mAh battery (non-removable) under the hood.
The Vivo Y66 is available in Rose Gold and Crown Gold color variants. It has been priced at Rs. 14,990 in India and will go on sale across the country starting from March 20, 2017. Last month, the company had launched the Vivo Y55S in India for Rs. 12,490.
