Vivo Y15S smartphone officially announced in India for about Rs 6000

Vivo has officially announced three new smartphones in India in their Y series. Lets have a look at the specifications of Vivo Y15S, a budget smartphone. The company has also announced that all its major devices will get one year extended warranty across India this festive season.


Vivo Y15S Specifications

The Vivo Y15S features a 4.5-inch (854 x 480 pixels) IPS display that is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core processor. It has 1 GB of RAM and comes with 8 GB of internal memory which can also be expanded up to 128 GB via microSD card. The device runs on FunTouch OS 2.0 out of the box that is based on Android 5.1 Lollipop.

The Y15S comes with a 5 megapixel primary rear camera with LED flash. It has a 2 megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calling. The smartphone has Dual SIM feature, a 3.5mm audio jack and FM Radio. It has a 8.6 mm body that weighs 130 grams.

The smartphone includes 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS as connectivity options. It packs in a 1,900 mAh battery under the hood.

The Vivo Y15S has been priced around Rs 6,000 in India. The company has also officially announced Vivo Y27L that went on sale last week and Vivo Y31 today.
