vivo X7 with Super AMOLED display, Snapdragon 652 SoC, 4GB RAM goes official

Couple of days back, vivo has announced two new smartphones – the vivo X7 and X7 Plus in China. Lets go through the specifications and features of the Vivo X7 below.

The vivo X7 features a 5.2-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD Super AMOLED display with 2.5D curved glass. It is powered by a 1.8 GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 64-bit processor along with Adreno 510 GPU. It has 4 GB of RAM and comes with 64 GB of internal memory, which cannot be expanded further via microSD card. The device runs on Funtouch OS 2.5.1 based on Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box.

The X7 comes with a 13 megapixel rear primary camera with LED flash, f/2.2 aperture and Phase Detection Auto Focus (PDAF). On the front, it has a 16 megapixel front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture and soft LED flash for selfies and video calling. It is 7.24 mm thick, weighs 151 grams, supports Dual SIM and AK4376 audio chip for an enhanced audio experience. It has a full metal body and comes with a fingerprint sensor embedded into the home button, that unlocks the phone in under 0.2 seconds.

The X7 includes 4G LTE, 3G, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac (Dual Band), Bluetooth 4.1 and GPS as connectivity options. The smartphone packs in a 3,000 mAh battery under the hood with support for fast charging.

The vivo X7 is available in Rose Gold and Gold color variants. It has been priced at CNY 2498 (US $376 / INR Rs 25,268 approximately) and will go on sale in China via several platforms starting from July 7, 2016. The company has also announced the Vivo X7 Plus, which will go on sale from July 15 and the pricing will be revealed on that day itself.
