Vivo X6Plus with 4GB RAM, fingerprint sensor, metal body unveiled in China

Vivo X6Plus has been officially launched at an event in China, as expected, along with the Vivo X6. These are the latest flagship devices from the company. Lets check out the specifications of the device.


Vivo X6Plus Specifications

The Vivo X6Plus features a 5.7-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD Super AMOLED display with 2.5D curved glass. It is powered by a 1.7 GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6752 processor along with 700 MHz Mali-T760 MP2 GPU. It has 4 GB of RAM and comes with 32 GB of internal memory which can also be expanded via microSD card. The device runs on Funtouch OS based on Android 5.1 Lollipop. It has a metal body and comes with a 360-degree fingerprint sensor at the back that unlocks the phone in under 0.4 seconds.

The Vivo X6Plus comes with a 13 megapixel rear primary camera with LED flash, f/2.0 aperture and Phase Detection Auto Focus (PDAF). On the front, it has a 8 megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calling. The smartphone supports Hybrid Dual SIM where the second nano SIM slot can be used as a microSD card slot. It is 6.85 mm thick and weighs 171 grams. The flagship phablet comes with ES9028 DAC chip and YAMAHA YSS-205X digital surround signal processing chip for an enhanced audio experience.

The X6Plus includes 4G LTE, 3G, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac (Dual Band), Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS as connectivity options. The phablet packs in a 3,000 mAh battery under the hood along with double charging chip that supports fast charging.

The Vivo X6Plus is available in Silver, Gold and Rose Gold color variants. The X6 China Unicom variant has been priced at CNY 2998 (US $469 / INR Rs 31,175 approximately) whereas the standard network variant has been priced at CNY 3198 (US $500 / INR Rs 33,258 approximately). It can be ordered starting from December 15 and will go on sale from December 21 in the country.


Vivo X6 flagship smartphone has also been announced in China today and will go on sale in China from December 7.
