Vivo X5Pro has been officially launched in India. It is the latest and the most high-end device from Vivo in the X series. It was announced in China back in May. Lets look at the specifications.

The Vivo X5Pro features a 5.2-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD Super AMOLED display with 2.5D glass technology. The smartphone is powered by a 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 MSM8939 octa-core (ARM Cortex A53 – 4×1.5 GHz + 4×1.0 GHz) processor along with Adreno 405 GPU. It has 2 GB of RAM and comes with 16 GB of internal storage which can be expanded up to 128 GB via microSD card. The phablet will run on Funtouch OS 3.0 based on Android 5.0 Lollipop out of the box.
On the camera front, it has a 13 megapixel rear camera with a LED flash, f/2.0 aperture. It can shoot 1080p videos. On the front, there is a 8 megapixel front-facing camera with f/2.4 aperture for selfies and video calling. It has Dual SIM support as well. It is 6.44 mm thick with a metal frame around the body. The company promises Hi-Fi audio experience with custom Cirrus Logic DAC AK4375 audio chip.
It has 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, USB OTG as connectivity options. The smartphone has a 2,450 mAh battery under the hood.
The Vivo X5Pro has been priced at Rs 27,980 in India and will go on sale across the country from August 15. The Vivo V1 is also available in India for Rs 16,000 since yesterday.
