Videocon Z55 Dash has been launched in India. It is the first smartphone by the company to be designed and assembled in the country after they started manufacturing facility in the country to support the ‘Make in India’ movement. Check out the specifications.
Videocon Z55 Dash Specifications
The Videocon Z55 Dash features a 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD IPS display, which is protected by Dragontrail X Glass and has anti-fingerprint coating. It is powered by a 1.4 GHz octa-core processor. It has 1 GB of RAM and comes with 8 GB of internal memory which is expandable up to 32 GB via microSD card. It runs on Android 4.4 KitKat out of the box and hopefully will get updated to Android 5.0 Lollipop in the near future.
The Z55 Dash is equipped with a 8 megapixel rear camera with LED flash. On the front, there is a 5 megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calling. It supports Dual SIM and has 3.5 mm audio jack and FM Radio. The smartphone comes with pre-installed apps like V-Secure and V-Safe with 90 days free subscription.
On the connectivity front, the Z55 Dash has 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS. It packs in a 2,200 mAh removable battery under the hood.
