Videocon Mobiles has launched a new smartphone called the Videocon Cube 3 (V50JL) in India today, that supports 4G VoLTE, packs in 3GB of RAM and runs on Android Marshmallow OS. Lets have a look at its specifications, features and price below.
Videocon Cube 3 (V50JL) Specifications
The Videocon Cube 3 (V50JL) features a 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD IPS 2.5D curved glass display, that is protected by Dragontrail glass. It is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6735 64-bit processor along with Mali-T720 GPU. It has 3 GB of RAM and comes with 32 GB of internal memory, which can be expanded via microSD card. It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS out of the box.
It comes pre-loaded with SOS – Be Safe emergency response app that has Alert, Walk with ME and reach on time features. The power button of the device acts like a SOS button, which can also be customized to send alerts with the GPS location to friends. The Walk with ME feature will send location of a user at regular intervals to emergency contacts and Reach on Time will send an alert if a user has not reached a particular destination at the set time.
The Cube 3 rocks a 13 megapixel rear camera with dual-tone LED flash, Samsung ISOCELL sensor and Phase Detection Auto Focus (PDAF). On the front, there is a 5 megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calling. It supports Dual SIM, comes with a 3.5 mm audio jack and FM Radio.
On the connectivity front, the Cube 3 has 4G with VoLTE support, 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS. It packs in a 3,000 mAh battery under the hood.
The Videocon Cube 3 has been priced at Rs 8,490 and will be sold via offline stores across India very soon. Sometime back, the company had launched the Videocon Krypton3 for Rs 10,000.
