Vernee Apollo with 5.5-inch QHD force touch display, 6GB RAM, Helio X20 goes official

Vernee, a new Chinese company in town has unveiled its flagship device, the Vernee Apollo at the MediaTek event in China couple of days back. Let go through the specifications of the device.


Vernee Apollo Specifications

The Vernee Apollo features a 5.5-inch (2560 x 1440 pixels) Quad HD IPS force touch display. It is powered by a deca-core MediaTek Helio X20 64-bit processor along with Mali-T880 MP4 GPU. It has 6 GB of RAM and comes with 128 GB of internal memory which cannot be expanded via microSD card. It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS out of the box.

The Apollo rocks a 21 megapixel rear camera with dual-tone LED flash, Sony IMX230 sensor. On the front, there is a 8 megapixel front facing camera for selfies and video calling. It has a metal body which also sports a fingerprint sensor at the back.


The Apollo comes with 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac (Dual Band), Bluetooth 4.1, USB Type-C and GPS as connectivity options. There is no information about the battery capacity yet.

The Vernee Apollo will be available in Silver color. It will go on sale starting from April 2016 and the price will also be announced later.
