TP-Link Neffos X1 and X1 Max goes official at IFA 2016

TP-LINK has announced two new smartphones – the Neffos X1 and Neffos X1 Max smartphones at the IFA 2016 in Berlin. Lets go through the specifications and features of both the devices below.

TP-LINK X1 Specifications

The TP-LINK Neffos X1 features a 5.0-inch (1280 x 720) HD IPS 2.5D curved glass display. It is powered by a 1.8 GHz octa-core MediaTek Helio P10 64-bit processor along with Mali-T860 GPU. It has 2 / 3 GB of RAM and comes with 16 / 32 GB of internal memory, which can be further expanded up to 128 GB via microSD card. The device runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS out of the box. It has unibody metal design with 2.75 mm narrow edges and 0.6 mm ultra-slim chamfer.

The Neffos X1 comes with a 13 megapixel rear camera with dual-tone LED flash, f/2.0 aperture, Sony IMX298 sensor, 5P lens, Phase Detection Auto Focus (PDAF), that can record Full HD 1080p videos. It has a 5 megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calling. It supports Dual SIM (nano), comes with a 3.5 mm audio jack and is 7.95 mm thick. It features a fingerprint sensor at the back, that unlocks the device in 0.2 seconds.

The Neffos X1 comes with 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n (Dual Band), Bluetooth 4.1 and GPS as connectivity options. The smartphone packs in a 2,250 mAh battery under the hood. It also comes with a mute button along with the power button.

The TP-LINK Neffos X1 Max features a 5.5-inch (1920 x 1080) Full HD IPS 2.5D curved glass display. It is powered by a 1.8 GHz octa-core MediaTek Helio P10 64-bit processor along with Mali-T860 GPU. It has 3 / 4 GB of RAM and comes with 32 / 64 GB of internal memory, which can be further expanded up to 128 GB via microSD card. The device runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS out of the box. It has unibody metal design with 2.75 mm narrow edges and 0.6 mm ultra-slim chamfer.

The TP-Link Neffos X1 and X1 Max is available in Cloudy Grey and Sunrise Gold color variants. It starts at €199 (US $222 / INR Rs 14,777 approximately) and €249 (US $278 / INR Rs 18,490 approximately), respectively and will start rolling out in Q4 2016.

Earlier, TP-LINK had launched the Neffos C5, C5L and C5 Max back in January 2016.
