Swipe to launch Elite, online-only sub-brand which is coming soon

Swipe Telecom is going to enter the ‘online-only’ game by launching a sub-brand named Elite. They will make premium ‘value of money’ devices and the first Elite series of smartphones will be priced between Rs 5,000 and Rs 15,000.


The first Elite smartphone from Swipe Telecom will be launched in August itself. The approach is similar to many other companies after the entrance of Chinese players like Xiaomi, OnePlus and more. Recently, XOLO launched its first online-only device – the XOLO Black in partnership with Flipkart and in the past we saw Micromax Informatics launching YU Televentures. However, we do not know with which e-commerce portal Swipe Telecom has partnered with, but it will be an exclusive on a ‘leading e-commerce portal’. The company has planned to launch a new device every two months starting this October. Swipe has also planned to spend Rs 20 lakhs on marketing and promotional activities.

On this occasion, Shripal Gandhi, Founder & CEO of Swipe Technologies said,

“There is a growing demand for our products online and the traction has increased by almost 200% during the last year. With changing purchasing patterns of the smartphone users, Swipe’s upcoming offering through its new brand Elite will be available for sale on e-commerce websites. The idea is to introduce a premium and superior smartphone that caters to extremely aspirational and tech savvy high-end youth segment.”
