Strontium NITRO microSD card with Type-C Card Reader has been launched in India. It is a Type-C mobile kit that comes with a NITRO UHS-I microSDXC card (64GB / 128GB) along with a Type-C card reader. It will help the user transfer files between smartphones, tablet and laptops that come with USB Type-C ports and Mac/PC with standard USB 2.0 / 3.0 ports.
Features of the Strontium NITRO microSD card with Type-C Card Reader
This Strontium NITRO microSD card with Type-C Card Reader maximizes the UHS-I technology which in turn gives out outstanding NITRO performance. The 64GB card guarantees 566X (85 MB/s) minimum read transfer speed whereas the 128GB promises 466X (70MB/s) read speed. The microSDXC cards are compatible with microSDXC and microSDXC-I (UHS-I) enabled devices. The device is water, temperature, magnet and x-ray proof.
The product includes a Type-C Card Reader that will allow for data storage and transfer between devices with Type-C ports and Mac/PC via microSD card. It is compatible with Windows, Linux, Mac 10.X or above. Interface on board – Super Speed Standard Type A USB (USB 3.0) and USB Type-C. The microSDXC card is 1mm thick whereas the Card Reader is 8.6 mm thick.
The Strontium NITRO microSD card with Type-C Card Reader is available in 64GB and 128GB capacities and has been priced at Rs 3,699 and Rs 9,349, respectively. The card comes with Strontium Lifetime Limited Warranty whereas the Card Reader has 1 year warranty.
