Strontium launches iDrive 3.0 for iPhone and iPad along with Nitro Plus

Dual sided USB devices are in trend. Last week SanDisk announced Ultra Dual USB 3.0 pen drive for Android smartphones with OTG capability. Why would Android devices would have all the fun, this time Strontium launched a iDrive 3.0, an external storage for iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus that connects through lightning connector. This device lets user easily transfer files between iPhone or iPad with PCs or Macs, backup and restore contacts, calendar, videos and pictures.


Speaking of transfer rate, as we know lightning connector gives a higher speed than USB devices and hence it claims to give  a transfer speed of up to 85MB/s. The iDrive is available in 16GB, 32GB and 64GB capacities and comes with 2 years Strontium Limited Warranty.


Strontium Technology also launched Nitro Plus On-The-Go (OTG) USB flash drive 3.0 for Android smartphones. It has USB 3.0 and promises read speed of up to 120 MB/s and write speed of up to 90 MB/s. It also comes in 16GB, 32GB and 64GB capacities. It is priced at Rs. 849 for 16GB, 32 GB costs Rs. 1,369 and 64 GB.

The price of iDrive starts at Rs. 5,145 and the Nitro Plus OTG carries a tag of Rs.2,749. Both of these devices will be available in market soon.
