The Internet was filled with the buzz of Sony announcing the Xperia Z5 and Xperia Z5 Compact soon, maybe at the IFA 2015. However, a possible render of the Xperia Z5 Plus has been on spotted on the Chinese social media portal Weibo.

The device is seen in three different colours – Silver, Black and Gold. The user agent profile of the Xperia Z5 Plus has revealed the model number to be Sony E68XX (E6833, E6853, E6883), which suggests that the device might come with a 4K display. It clearly lists a screen resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels. The smartphone will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 (MSM8944) processor, according to the profile.

The rendered image has a very low resolution so we cannot depict much about the look of the device. The image shown is a zoomed one here. According to rumours, there is a possibility of a fingerprint scanner as well to be present on the right side of the device. We will bring you more information on the supposedly world’s first 4K display smartphone later.

Sony recently announced the Xperia C5 Ultra and Xperia M5.
