Sony India had launched their flagship smartphone, the Sony Xperia XZ Dual in India on September 29. It was on pre-order till October 10 and is now on sale via Amazon India, Sony Center and select retail stores across the country. It is priced at Rs 51,990 but you can purchase it for Rs 49,990 (Best Buy price). Customers who pre-booked the device got a free SmartBand Talk – SWR30 worth Rs 8,990.
Sony Xperia XZ Dual Specifications
The Sony Xperia XZ Dual features a 5.2-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD Triluminos display, that is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass. It is powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 64-bit 14nm processor along with Adreno 530 GPU. It has 3 GB of RAM and comes with 64 GB of internal memory, which can also be expanded further up to 256 GB via microSD card. The device runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS with Xperia launcher on top of it.
The Xperia XZ Dual comes with a 23 megapixel rear camera with LED flash, 1/2.3″ Sony Exmor RS sensor, Predictive Hybrid AF speed of 0.03 second, f/2.0 aperture, 5-axis stabilization. It can record 4K videos. On the front, there is a 13 megapixel front-facing camera with 1/3″ Exmor RS sensor, 22 mm wide-angle lens, f/2.0 aperture for selfies and video calling. It can shoot Full HD 1080p videos. The smartphone is 8.1 mm thick and weighs 161 grams. The device supports Sony DSEE HX audio technology and has LDAC codec, comes with 3.5 mm audio jack and FM Radio with RDS. It also offers Digital Noise Cancelling and supports Hybrid Dual SIM (nano + nano / microSD card). It comes with a fingerprint sensor embedded into its power button and it is also water-resistant since it is IP65/IP68 certified.
The Xperia XZ Dual comes with 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac (dual band) MIMO, Bluetooth 4.2, NFC, USB Type-C and GPS / GLONASS as connectivity options. It rocks a 2,900 mAh battery under the hood with STAMINA mode and supports Qnovo’s Adaptive Charging technology. It is available in Mineral Black, Platinum and Forest Blue color variants.
