Sony Xperia XA to go on sale in UK on June 10

Sony Xperia XA that was announced at MWC this year, will go on sale in the UK starting from June 10. The device can now be pre-ordered on Amazon for £279.99 (US $403 / INR Rs 26,882 approximately). It is currently available in Lime Gold, Black and White color variants. Lets have a recap of the specifications of the device now.

The Sony Xperia XA features a 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD curved glass edge-to-edge display. It is powered by a 1.8 GHz octa-core MediaTek Helio P10 (MT6755) 64-bit processor along with Mali T860 GPU. It has 2 GB of RAM and comes with 16 GB of internal memory which can also be expanded up to 200 GB via microSD card. The device runs on the latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS with Xperia launcher on top.

The Xperia XA comes with a 13 megapixel rear camera with LED flash, 1/3″ Sony Exmor RS sensor, Hybrid Auto Focus. It can shoot Full HD 1080p videos. On the front, there is a 8 megapixel front-facing camera with Sony Exmor R sensor, 88-degree wide-angle lens for selfies and video calling. It can also shoot Full HD 1080p videos. The smartphone is 7.9 mm thick and weighs 137.4 grams. It comes with a 3.5 mm audio jack, FM Radio with RDS and supports Dual SIM (region dependent).

The Xperia XA comes with 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1 and GPS as connectivity options. It rocks a 2,300 mAh battery under the hood with STAMINA mode and supports Qnovo’s Adaptive Charging technology.

Also, the Sony Xperia X smartphone will go on sale in the UK on May 20 for £549.99 (US $792 / INR Rs 52,805 approximately). It can also be pre-ordered on Amazon now.
