Sony Xperia X Performance headed to Japan in June

Sony Xperia X Performance, which was officially announced back in February along with the Xperia X and Xperia XA smartphones, will go on sale in Japan next month (mid-June). It has also went on pre-order in some parts of Europe and is expected to go on sale there by early June. However, according to reports, Japan is set to get it ahead of any other country.

The X Performance will launch under the AU network from KDDI in Japan and the specifications of the model will be a bit different from the global variant. It is expected to support Dual SIM along with 4G LTE and will be available exclusively in 64GB storage variant. However, the major change is the smaller battery found on the Japanese variant. It will be a 2570 mAh battery instead of the 2700 mAh battery found on the global variant. It will be available in all four colors including Lime Gold, Rose Gold, White and Graphite Black. Lets have a look at the specifications of the global variant to get some perspective on both.
