Sony Xperia E5 Dual and E5 has been officially unveiled by the company yesterday, after it was accidentally confirmed few days back. These are the successors of the Xperia E4 and E4 Dual Lets check out the specifications and features of this budget device.

The Sony Xperia E5 Dual features a 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD IPS display, that is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6735 64-bit processor along with Mali-T720 GPU. It has 1.5 GB of RAM and comes with 16 GB of internal memory, which can be expanded up to 200 GB via microSD card. It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS out of the box.

It is equipped with a 13 megapixel rear camera with LED flash, which can record Full HD 1080p videos. On the front, there is a 5 megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calling. It supports Dual SIM (e5 Dual only), comes with a 3.5 mm audio jack and FM Radio. It is 8.2 mm thick and weighs 147 grams.

On the connectivity front, the Sony Xperia E5 Dual has 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1 and GPS. It packs in a 2,700 mAh battery under the hood that promises up to 2 days of battery life.

The Sony Sony Xperia E5 Dual and E5 will be available in White and Graphite Black color variants. It will start rolling out in Europe, Latin America, Middle East and Africa starting from late June 2016. The pricing of these devices will start at €199 (US $222 / INR Rs 15,004 approximately) in Europe.
