Sony to unveil Xperia Z4 tablet at MWC 2015 on March 2

Sony has officially teased the upcoming Xperia Z4 tablet on Twitter. The tablet will be unveiled at Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2015 in Barcelona on March 2.

As the teaser suggests, the Xperia Z4 tablet will be slimmer, lighter and brighter. This indicated the device will be slimmer and lighter than the previous compact version as well as have a 2K display.

The Sony Xperia Z4 tablet will look similar to the Xperia Z3 tablet Compact¬†¬†launched at IFA last year. The tablet might be as slim as the iPad Air 2 or Dell Venue 8 tablet. It will come with top of the line “ultra-fast processor”, likely to be the Snapdragon 810 chipset and a 10-inch 2K display. The tablet will have a sleek all metal body with rounded edges.

The Xperia X4 tablet will also be accompanied by an “industry leading battery performance”. As the recent Xperia devices are water and dust proof, we would assume you could take the Xperia Z4 tablet for a swim as well. It would surely run on the latest Android 5.0 Lollipop.

Sony has recently announced the E4g and E4g Dual smartphones which will be showcased at MWC 2015. The company has shipped 11.9 million smartphones in third quarter last year.
