Sony F3311 with Android Marshmallow spotted on GFXBench

A new budget smartphone from Sony was spotted on GFXBench. Lets check out the rumoured specifications of the Sony F3311 now.

The Sony F3311 is an upcoming smartphone, which will feature a 4.6-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD display. It will be powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6735 processor along with Mali-T720 GPU. It will come with 1.5 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal memory, which can be expanded via microSD card. It will run on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS out of the box.

The F3311 will be equipped with a 13 megapixel rear camera with LED flash. It will be able to shoot Full HD 1080p videos. On the front, the upcoming smartphone will have a 5 megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calling. It will support Dual SIM (depending on region).

On the connectivity front, the F3311 will support 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1 and GPS. There is no information on the battery capacity yet.

The display size of upcoming smartphone, the Sony F3311 (codename) might be bigger since we have seen in the past that the display information available on GFXBench listings are not correct (mostly). We also do not have any pictures of the device yet, hence it might be a couple of months away from launch. Expect more information in the next couple of weeks though. Sony F3216 smartphone was also spotted on GFXBench.
