Sharp AQUOS Compact SH-02H has been announced in NTT DoCoMo’s 2015 winter/2016 spring lineup yesterday. Lets take a look at the specifications of the smartphone.
Sharp AQUOS Compact SH-02H Specifications
The Sharp AQUOS Compact SH-02H features a 4.7-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD IGZO display that is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 4. The display has a pixel density of 468 ppi with minimal bezel. It is powered by a hexa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 (2 x 1.8 GHz ARM A57 + Quad 1.4 GHz ARM A53) 64-bit processor along with Adreno 430 GPU. It has 3 GB of RAM and comes with 32 GB of internal memory which can be expanded up to 200 GB via microSD card. It runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop OS out of the box.
It is equipped with a 13.1 megapixel rear camera with BSI sensor, f/1.9 aperture and LED flash. On the front, there is a 5 megapixel front-facing camera with BSI sensor for selfies and video calling and it is placed below the display. The smartphone weighs 120 grams and is 8.9 mm thick. It is also water and dust resistant as it is IPX5/IP6X certified. There is a fingerprint sensor at the back below the rear camera.
On the connectivity front, the AQUOS Compact has 4G LTE-A and VoLTE, 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac (Dual Band), Bluetooth 4.1, GPS/GLONASS and NFC. It packs in a 2,810 mAh built-in battery under the hood.
The Sharp AQUOS Compact SH-02H is available in Blue with Black and Yellow with Silver color variants and will go on sale by early December via NTT DoCoMo. Pricing has not been revealed yet. Sharp also unveiled Disney Mobile DM-01H for DoCoMo that has similar specifications as AQUOS Compact and it will go on sale by the end of January 2016.
The company has also announced Sharp AQUOS ZETA SH-01H smartphone for NTT DoCoMo that will go on sale by early November 2015.
