SanDisk iXpand Memory Case for iPhone now adds up to 128GB storage, optional battery pack

SanDisk iXpand Memory Case for iPhone 6 and 6s has been officially announced, that comes with up to 128 GB of inbuilt storage capacity. As the case features hard plastic outside and soft rubber inside, it does offer good protection to the iPhone as well.

Features of the SanDisk iXpand Memory Case

At the moment, the iXpand Memory Case works with iPhone 6 and 6s only. It comes with 32GB, 64GB or 128GB of built-in storage variants. It is accompanied by a companion app that will let the user access and manage their content. They can view their photos, play videos, music and access other files as well. Also, users can store and read select apps directly to/from the iXpand Memory Case. For example, use the app to shoot, save and view photos and videos directly from the case memory.

A separate 1900mAh add-on battery pack is also available with the SanDisk iXpand Memory Case. When it gets connected, it will detect when the phone’s battery is low, and instantly start charging it. This partially will make the iPhone a modular smartphone, like the LG G5 and Moto Z.

The SanDisk iXpand Memory Case is available in Red, Grey, Blue and Teal color variants. It has been priced at $59.99 (INR Rs 4,069 approximately) for 32GB, $99.99 (INR Rs 6,781 approximately) for 64GB and $129.99 (INR Rs 8,816 approximately) for 128GB variant. It is already selling in USA. Also, the SanDisk battery pack has been priced at $39.99 (INR Rs 2,712 approximately) and can be now be pre-ordered in USA.
