The SanDisk iXpand flash drive comes with the lightning connector which is a proprietary connector of Apple’s latest iOS devices. However, the device can only copy files but not move them. When it’s used with the new iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus, iPad Air 2 or iPad Mini 3 128GB variants, the SanDisk 128GB iXpand flash drive will instantly double the available storage for music, photos and videos along with other multimedia files.

The iXpand Sync app is available on the iTunes App Store for the iPhone and iPad. It will allow the users to automatically sync, backup and transfer photos and videos. It will launch when the SanDisk iXpand Flash drive is plugged into an iPhone or an iPad.

The SanDisk iXpand flash drive will also be available in 16GB, 32GB, 64GB and 128GB capacities with MSRPs of US $59.99 to US $149.99. These devices will be compatible with iPhone 5 and above, iPad Air and above and iPod Touch (5th Gen) running on iOS 7 or above. The SanDisk 128GB iXpand flash drive is available currently on the official website and other variants will go on sale next month globally.

Strontium Nitro iDrive OTG pen drives were recently launched in India exclusively on Flipkart.
