Samsung surfaced a device featuring unique material: Galaxy A5 (SM-A500F)

Samsung was in talks of making premium metal-clad devices under the A series devices which will give feel of an iPhone. We have already seen a variant of the series. Now sammobile has got hold of live images of Galaxy A5 (SM-A500F). Rumors said that the Galaxy SM-A500 would have metallic build, but according to Sammobile’s sources, the smartphone would not have a metal build instead the company has used a unique material that ‘feels cold in the hand’. This is to make the device look premium, even though it will be a mid-range device according to the website. According to the images which got surfaced, the device has Chrome finish on the edge outlining and also has slots on its side.

Another smartphone in the A series has surfaced on their website. The device will boast qHD screen and a Snapdragon 410 SoC with Adreno 306 GPU. According to earlier benchmark leak, the Samsung SM-A300 would have a 4.8 inch (960×540 pixels) qHD display, running on Android 4.4.4 KitKat. It also have 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage, 8-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera.

Guessing on the nomenclature of the devices, the SM-A500 would be released as Galaxy A5, keeping the same track, the SM-A300 could be then named as Galaxy A3.
