Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime 4G has been officially launched in India today, after it was spotted on the official website couple of days back. It was announced for India back in February. Lets check out the specifications.
Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime 4G Specifications
The Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime 4G features a 5-inch (960 x 540 pixels) display which is powered by 1.2 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor. It has 1 GB of RAM and comes with 8 GB of internal memory which can also be expanded up to 64 GB via microSD card. The device runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop OS out of the box with the latest version of the TouchWiz on top of it.
The Grand Prime 4G comes with a 8 megapixel primary rear camera with LED flash, which can also shoot 1080p videos. On the front, it has a 5 megapixel front-facing camera with wide-angle lens for selfies and video calling. The smartphone is 8.6 mm thick and weighs 156 grams. It supports Dual SIM and has a 3.5 mm audio jack.
The Galaxy Grand Prime 4G includes 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS + GLONASS and NFC as connectivity options. The smartphone packs in a 2,600 mAh battery under the hood with ultra power saving mode.
The Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime 4G is available in White, Grey and Gold colour variants and has been priced at Rs 11,100 in India. The company also announced the latest phablet in the A series in India today – the Samsung Galaxy A8, priced at Rs 32,500.
